Obituary: Hilton Eugene Smith, June 16, 1935 - June 30, 2020

Hilton Eugene Smith, 85, passed away lovingly surrounded by family, on June 30, 2020.

Born in Exmore, Virginia in 1935, Hilton was the oldest of three siblings. He attended college at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and served proudly in the military before moving to Portland to start his family. Hilton had a long career at the Veterans Hospital in Nuclear Medicine, as well as the Memorial Coliseum.

He attended Bethel A.M.E Church, and was an active member of The Royal Rosarians & Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Hilton will forever be remembered by his wife, Bobbie Smith; sister Emma Draper; daughters Lori Smith, Tracy Smith, and Cobi Lewis. He leaves behind grandsons Michael, Marcus, Miles and Tyson; and granddaughters Nina and Mikaela.
